Buying 'blind' can be a foolhardy thing to do...been there done that... however Bidding Classics with their very comprehensive videos including a fair drive of the vehicle let alone a massive photo portfolio of high res images showing all the bits one should look at was a deciding factor to purchase a 42 yr old vehicle.

The vehicle was delivered to a specialist a short while ago and speaking to him just now it seems I have done well. Neil was very helpful and professional. If I ever buy another 'old-un' I won't hesitate to look at Bidding Classics once more. Thanks very much from a satisfied punter.

This is an excellent Company.

Neil and Matthew did an outstanding job of describing, photographing and videoing my car. This is a trustworthy way to sell a car and avoid scammers and timewasters.

Commission charged is very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Company.

Not every offering will be consigned, but every offering will be given equal consideration.

When you submit your vehicle for review, our team will ask for key details about the auction lot, we require as much detail as possible about its service history and paperwork. Bidding Classics shall not be liable to the seller or buyer for any error or omission of the auction lot.

Sellers can request that the lot is auctioned with a reserve. A reserve will be agreed in consultation with the Bidding Classics team to ensure that it is realistic. You may reduce or withdraw your reserve by providing written notice to Bidding Classics. Once a reserve has been agreed we will not increase this figure.

Once an auction lot is open for bidding, any registered user can ask a question about it in the comments below each listing. To maximise your sale price we suggest responding to all questions as soon as possible. We will email you whenever your listing receives a new comment.

For all sellers using the Bidding Classics Concierge service we will accommodate all interested parties that wish to view a vehicle. Standard Auction sellers will have to accommodate viewing from interested parties. Buyers and sellers shall not engage in any activity designed to complete or facilitate a transaction for the sale or purchase of an auction outside of the site. Please see terms and conditions*.

Every listing is presented to the seller for approval before it goes live. The seller takes final responsibility on the information being accurate in the sales listing.

No, you can NOT bid on your own auction, nor can you have a friend bid on your auction on your behalf. If you or someone on your behalf has bid on your Auction Lot and the Auction Lot does not sell to a real bidder as a result, or if you have “bid up” a lot, you will be banned from using the website.

Once you have submitted your vehicle to Bidding Classics and the auction has gone live in our ‘Coming Soon’ section, you cannot withdraw your car. If you do withdraw your car, you will be obliged to pay the fees agreed in your Bidding Classics service agreement.

When an auction lot sells successfully on the platform, the buyer is immediately sent the safe escrow payment details.  Once the funds have been received in escrow, Bidding Classics then introduces the seller and buyer to complete the transaction.

If the auction lot fails to meet its reserve price, then the seller will be notified of the highest bid submitted during the auction. The seller will then have 24-hours from the end of the auction to either accept or reject this bid. This 24-hour period can be extended by agreement between us and the buyer.

If there is no agreement to extend and the buyer is not notified of the acceptance of their final bid within 24-hours from the end of the auction, it will be deemed to be rejected. If the bid is accepted by the seller, we will put the buyer in touch with the seller for the sale of the auction lot.
