A brand new online auction site, www.biddingclassics.com is aiming to breathe new life into the classic and enthusiast vehicle marketplace and become the ‘go-to’ website for those looking for a new automotive love in their life.

With an emphasis on appreciating classics, Bidding Classics is currently consigning quality examples to add to an already impressive and diverse list of vehicles – from a Volkswagen Beetle and Datsun 240Z to a Ferrari 360.

Auctions start at www.biddingclassics.com on Saturday 26thNovember 2022 and all car enthusiasts are encouraged to register and get ready to bid. Likewise, would-be sellers are being encouraged to get in touch. Regardless of vehicle make, model, age or value – the Bidding Classics team will only be too happy to talk through the process and discuss the options available.

Managing Director, Neil Atkinson not only has an impressive list of business successes to his name – most recently with his acquisition of renowned classic car restoration firm Carrosserie – but also an equally impressive list of vehicles of which he has enjoyed ownership over the last 30 years: from Subaru Impreza P1 and Mitsubishi Evo 8 MR to Nissan GTR and Lotus Exige Cup 430.

“I recall the breathtaking excitement I first felt when witnessing Group B rally cars in action in the 1980s and the passion it generated within me,” explains Atkinson. “It is that passion that drives Bidding Classics to help enthusiasts find the right car for them – one that makes them feel the same way as I did when a Lancia Delta S4 hurtled past, just inches from my nose”.

Bidding Classics is also aiming to revolutionise certain aspects of the auction process. For starters, the winning bidder pays just the hammer price – there are no hidden or unexpected fees and an optional warranty can also be provided, offering the buyer additional peace of mind.

For those sellers wishing to take advantage of a unique Concierge Service, all aspects of the sale are taken care of by the Bidding Classics team – from arranging and handling viewings, to the point of handover and any transportation requirements. Crucially, this fantastic initiative also provides the customer with a 206-point vehicle assessment and report – all of which goes towards making any sale or purchase through Bidding Classics a hassle-free service.

For Atkinson, the launch of Bidding Classics is the culmination of years of hard work and dedication: “I used to work in order to fund my passion for classic vehicles – with Bidding Classics and Carrosserie, I am now lucky enough to be doing what I love as my job. As electric vehicles take up the role of ‘daily driver’ for many, there is a greater need than ever for people to have something stirring to drive at the weekends and hopefully we can help them find what they are looking for.”
